Since 1983, during each winter auction season, Fort Sutter has been privileged to present birds from many well-known fanciers and lofts from throughout the United States. True to that tradition, Fort Sutter Racing Pigeon Club is pleased to bring back for the second year, the outstanding birds of Mike Brown’s Sky Lake Sion Loft. For everyone in attendance, for those who bid on-line, by phone or use our proxy bidders, this will be a unique chance to acquire some exceptionally fine birds. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!!!
Dr. Mike Brown, well-known for his outstanding loft of birds that win at races and at shows, is one of just a few California Flyers to win multiple DisneyAwards for outstanding flying records and multiple CSRPO Belt Buckles for having the most outstanding show birds at the CSRPO Convention Shows. Mike will bring approximately 45 birds to this special auction. About half will be from his outstanding collection of the all-distance award-winning SIONS; the others will be from his fantastic group of top birds acquired from some of the most outstanding lofts in the world, including Campbell Strange (Oak Haven Farm) and the Janssen Brothers of Belgium.
Mike has continually raced pigeons since 1970. He has been very successful in club and combine events, one loft races and shows throughout the state. He has owned over 30 of Campbell Strange’s OakHaven Farm birds. Many birds in this auction are directly down from these original OHF birds. He has visited the the Janssen Brothers Loft and was privileged to purchase birds directly from Louie Janssen himself. There are grand children in this auction bred from these birds bought when visiting Louie. Also in this auction are birds directly from the very best of Protege, directly from Herbot as well as some standouts from Ganis Family Lofts.
