With two previous successful Fort Sutter auctions in the past, the Fort Sutter Racing Pigeon Club is pleased and excited to have Mike Bator, well-known East Coast pigeon fancier, back as part of Fort Sutter’s first auction in 2013. Joining Mike for this outstanding double header auction will be the TWO-BE-WON Lofts owned by Vic DeBrouwer and Bill Ensign, both now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vic & Bill are well-known across the United States as successful breeders and top flyers in one-loft races and this will be their first Northern California Auction. Each of these two lofts will provide birds for an exciting auction.
MIKE BATOR: At a previous Mike Bator FSC auction, CSRPO judge Jim Cain announced that this was one of the best group of pigeons he had seen at an auction. Mike continues to score at many big races across the U.S. and has won seven average speeds in both Old & Young birds, competing against tough competition in New York. The families also continue to dominate the clubs in the very competitive New Jersey Combine. Flyers who have scored with Mike’s birds include: Bill Mittie & Stanley Garaebca, Illinois; Stan Rebejko & Bob Duhra, Canada; Bob Philip, Ohio; Sam Semmont, W. Virginia; and Joel Ameoden and Eric Miele, Massachusetts. Pedigrees will be available at the auction, but will not be available online prior to the auction for Mike’s birds. TWO-BE-ONE: Vic and Bill together have over 100 years of pigeon breeding and flying experience. Everyone should visit their website to get a real feel for just everything their lofts bring to the table and how they have created the American ENDE line of racing pigeons. You can learn how they molded their various top families of pigeons to create their own outstanding and successful family of birds. But briefly, at press time, during the current year, Two-Be-Won has won the following events: California Classic (only loft to win this event 3 straight years), Holiday Cup (both 202 & 140 miles), AU 220 Mile Convention Race, AGN Hot Spot (188 & 144 miles), & Fast Eddies Late Hatch Classic (306 miles.) Countless other successes of satellite lofts and various other positions near the top are also on the list. Live bidding (916) 452-2582 (Call prior to 11 am for bid set up). Bidders who can't be on site for the auction but want to buy birds either on line, by fax or with the help of our proxy bidder will be able to do so. Birds will be shipped at cost to your loft ASAP. At recent auctions, many birds were purchased at less than half of what bidders had approved as their top bid price, so you know your bid will be handled honestly.
