Mike Bator and Rick Broere have each had TWO successful auctions in the past at FSC. We are very pleased to have both breeders back again with a group of forty pigeons hand selected for this double header event. Each of these two lofts will provide top birds for an exciting auction.
Mike Bator: At a previous Mike Bator FSC action, CSRPO judge Jim Cain announced that this was one of the best groups of pigeons he had seen at any auction. Mike continues to score at many big races across the U.S. and Canada and has won many average speeds in both Old and Young birds, competing against the tough and highly competitive New Jersey Combine. Flyers who have scored with Mike’s birds include: Bill Mittie & Stanley Garaebca, Ill.; Stan Rebejko & Bob Duhra, Canada; Bob Phillip, OH; Sam Semmont, W.Va; and Joe Ameoden and Eric Miele, MA.
Mike continues to be successful in one loft races. The families he has been using for some time as well as the Chocolates and Hueben continue to score well.
Rick Broere has been successful racing birds in Canada and Montana (during 2014 while working there for one year), in both Old and Young Birds. Canadian flyers who have been successful with Rick’s birds include: Harvey Martin, the Rotiroti/Furlano Loft, Dave Ottaway, Silver Creek Lofts, Dan Horner, Bill Weima, Ashley Berwick, Kris Marshman, John Allem, Dave Naylor, Bernie Bedard, John Allen and Kris Marshman. Classic and One-Loft races in which Rick’s birds have placed or won include: Beijing Classic, Gulf Coast Classic, Alberta Classic, Empire 420 Classic, Hearst 500 Open, Pacific Classic Thunder Bay Truck Race WWW Gold Band Race Windy City Classic, and the Twin Towers Race! Most all of the birds Rick uses for his program are off stock that are from Imports he personally chose. Most of Rick’s birds in this auction were bred for stock or are birds returned after successfully completing One Loft Races.
